Donya (Director)
I joined You & Me Children's Center in 1994 as a teacher and have since worked with children of all ages before becoming Director. I'm passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and build confidence. I also value supporting our teachers, partnering with families, and fostering a strong sense of community.

With 28 years of experience working with young children, I’m excited to be the Buddy Bears teacher at You & Me. I believe preschool should be a joyful, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through play.

With 23 years of experience working with children, I have been a proud member of the You & Me family since 2018. As a mother myself, I understand the importance of providing a loving and nurturing environment. I find great joy in watching children grow, reach new milestones, and celebrating the special moments along the way.

I've been part of You & Me for five years and love bringing creativity and fun into the classroom. From art and playdough to circle time and felt stories, I enjoy creating engaging activities that spark children's imaginations. I also love capturing special moments through photos to share with families.

I joined the You & Me family in 2022. Growing up in a large Petaluma family and being a mother myself, caring for and nurturing children has always come naturally to me. I love creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels valued, loved, and encouraged to grow.

With six years of experience working with young children and a background in Educational Psychology, Child Development, and teaching, I'm passionate about helping children learn and grow. I love seeing the world through their eyes, celebrating the little moments that become big milestones, and helping each child discover their unique potential.

With a Special Education and Infant/Toddler teaching background, I am passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. I love incorporating soft island tunes and ukulele playing into my weekly curriculum to inspire joy, connection, and learning for all.
Teacher Jexi
I've been working with kids for almost 3 years now, primarily in the preschool setting. I love getting to inspire curiosity in the children and help their creativity flourish! It's always so wonderful getting to watch as they grow, learn and improve their skills. It's so special to be a part of that journey with them! :)
Teacher Mackenzie
My passion for working with children began at age 14 when I started as a referee, and I've loved it ever since. One of the most rewarding parts of my work at You & Me is building meaningful relationships with the children and their families, creating a welcoming and supportive community where everyone feels connected.

With experience as both a nanny and a teacher, I have developed a strong passion for working with children. I spent two years teaching and love creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and develop new skills. Helping children build confidence and discover the world around them is incredibly rewarding.
Teacher Stara
I am a certified Waldorf early childhood educator with a background in dance and gymnastics. I'm passionate about helping children develop balance, coordination, and confidence through movement and play, while fostering a love and appreciation for nature.
